The Government of Andhra Pradesh is keen on the utilization of Information Technology for automation of various activities related to government departments to ensure accuracy and transparency. The senior officials of the Government academic and technical personnel under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Minister for HRD have unanimously resolved to switch over from the conventional paper based examination to the system of Computer Based Test for all Common Entrance Tests (CETs) to be conducted from the Academic Year 2017-18 onwards.

The Recruitment shall be through a selection process consisting of Written Test and other criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time.

Eligibility
Candidates must have completed a graduation Degree and B.Ed. from a recognized institute or University can apply for AP DSC Notification 2018-19.
Job Seekers those who wish to apply for AP DSC CGG Gov should pass Teacher Eligibility Test. In addition to this, you must pass TET Examination 2018 with the following percentage.
- General Category – 60% marks.
- OBC Category – 50% marks.
- SC or ST – 40% marks.
Tips for preparation of written examination
- All candidates should give maximum time to their study regularly.

For School Assistants (SAs) and Language Pandits (LPs) the total marks shall be 100, out of which 80 marks shall be for the Written Test ( TRT ) and remaining 20 marks for APTET (20%) Weightage except School Assistant (Physical Education).
Language Pandits (TRT)- (Telugu/Urdu/Hindi/Tamil/Oriya/ Kannada/ Sanskrit)

2 Hours 30 Minutes

For School Assistant (Physical Education) and Physical Education Teachers (PETs) the total marks shall be 100, out of which 50 marks shall be for the Written Test (TRT), 30 marks shall be for the Physical Efficiency Test and remaining 20 marks for APTET(20%) Weightage.
Music TRT
Duration of examination
03 Hours
For Music Teachers the total marks shall be 100, out of which 70 marks shall be for the Written Test (TRT ) and remaining 30 marks shall be for the Skill Test.
Craft (TRT) & post of Art & Drawing (TRT)
Duration of examination
03 Hours
For Craft and Art & Drawing teachers the total marks shall be 100 for the Written Test (TRT) only.
