The High Court reserves right of shortlisting the candidates at any stage of recruitment process, by following an appropriate method or methods, as it would be found suitable and necessary.
The examination shall consist of the following three parts

  • Screening / Written Test
  • English Typing Test
  • Viva-­voce

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES IN THE EXAMINATION HALL

Candidates are prohibited from bringing into the examination hall any kind of written or printed matter or books etc., or from noting down the answer of any question on the question papers, hall tickets etc. They should not bring cell phones, pagers, calculators or any other electronic gadgets into the Examination Hall. Even if the students are found possessing any such material in person will also be punished according to the rules of the University
If a candidate is found talking to another candidate or person inside or outside the examination hall without permission even after a warning before, his answer book for that particular paper shall be cancelled.
candidate or if he receives or attempts to receive help from any source, including consulting books, notes or papers or any other matter outside the exam hall or has given help or attempted to give help, he / she shall be disqualified from appearing in any university exam for two years
If a candidate writes even a question or· anything concerned either on blotting paper, or any other piece of paper including question paper or hall tickets, or attempts to pass on question paper or part thereof he / she shall be disqualified for that examination

English Typing Test

The candidates found eligible on the basis of merit in Written/Screening Test alone would be called for the examination of English Typing Test (@ 40 words per minute) of 20 Marks. The duration of typing test would be 10 minutes, which will be conducted on Computer. The passage will contain 400 words.

Admit card Important

  1. Candidates should bring the printout of them admit card in the examination hall.
  2. Candidates should download their admit card before the date of exam.
  3. Candidate are advised to validate all the details mentioned on their Admit Card.
  4. Date, Time and Venue of the Exam will be given on the Admit Card.
  5. Candidate should bring their Valid ID proof at the time of Exam.
  6. Candidates are advised to keep their Admit Card safe till the joining. Admit Card will be required at the time of joining.
  7. Any issue regarding the generation of the admit card can be resolved by contacting the official authorities.
  8. The candidates should note that the admit card will have some instructions for the exam day and that they should be obeyed by all

Note: An appointment to the abovesaid post shall initially be on probation, for a period of two years. During the period of probation and until certificate about satisfactory completion of probation period is issued, services of the appointee shall stand terminated at any time, without giving any notice or assigning any reason.
Viva – Voice: The candidates will have to appear for the tests and viva-­voce on
scheduled dates and time, at their own expenses. They shall also keep with them
photo­identity proof, such as, Aadhaar/PAN/Election Card/Driving License/
Passport, while appearing for the tests & viva-­voce.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION for Bombay High Court Clerk 2018

The original certificates/documents of successful candidates will be verified for which dates will be notified after declaration of result. On the basis of written test, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates of Essential and Desirable Qualifications along with one set of photocopy, duly attested,
The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter and in the Attendance List. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Online Examination.
