MBBS from recognized Institute/College approved by Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.
MBBS from recognized Institute / College approved by Medical Council of India / State Medical Council with recognized Post Graduate Degree /DNB/Post Graduate Diploma with 3 years post qualification experience connected with the Speciality from a Hospital / Clinic. (For General Surgery, General Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine -minimum qualification is PG Degree/DNB with minimum 3 years experience).
About Examination
CIL is looking for dedicated and enterprising Medical Executives to work in Subsidiary companies/ coalfield Areas Hospitals/Dispensaries. If you are ready to accept the challenge and meet our requisite criteria, this is your best opportunity to join CIL.
If the number of eligible candidates is very large, candidates will be called in the ratio of 1:5 in the respective category for which the shortlisting criteria would be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree.

Exam Pattern for Coal India Specialist & Medical Officer 2018 (Expected)
The Online Test shall be of 75 Minutes duration comprising of 70 Multiple Choice Questions in the areas of General Awareness(5 Marks), English Language(5 marks), Numerical Ability(5 marks), Reasoning Ability(5 marks) and Subject Based(50 marks). Each question carries one mark and there will be no negative marks.
The Written Exam is conducted for Each Paper 5 Marks.
The Duration of each subject is 75 Minutes.
Viva-Voce is conducted for 70 Marks for candidates who have qualified in the Written Exam.
Important Instruction for Coal India Specialist & Medical Officer 2018
Unless the applicants produce valid Registration certificate from MCI/State Medical Council /result /passing certificate/relevant documents in original, they will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
However, in case of tie at the bottom, all such candidates would be called for interview. In case of CGPA / grade/gradepoint is awarded instead of marks, a certificate from the Registrar of the University / Head of Institute /Competent Authority is to be submitted specifying exact equivalent percentage and marks failing which such candidates will be placed at the bottom of list of candidates.

List of candidates who are shortlisted for interview will be uploaded in CIL website and they will be intimated about the date and time of the venue through email only. Interviews are likely to be conducted at Bilaspur, Sambalpur, Varanasi, Nagpur, Kolkata, Ranchi,Guwahati & Hyderabad.
Coal India Limited reserves the right to add or delete any centre (s) from the above list based on the number of applicants shortlisted and their present addresses. Candidates may opt / choose two interview centres in order of their preference from the above list.
As far as possible, it will be tried to meet their centre choice. CIL reserves the right to allocate the centre of interview, or change the centre opted by the candidate and also to schedule and re-schedule date of interview and venue.
