CRPF GD Constable / Tradesman 2018 Exam Date & Centre
Matriculation or 10th class pass is the minimum educational qualification. Most of the candidates attend the exam without knowing the CRPF Constable Tradesman Test Pattern and they have to get confused on the exam time. Exam Centre
The list of finally selected candidates will be displayed on the notice board of recruitment centre and CRPF website. Offer of appointment will be issued as per the availability of vacancies in each category in order of merit after verification of Character & Antecedents. A candidate, who applies for the both posts (i.e. CT/GD and CT/Tradesman) and qualifies in both posts will be only placed in the final merit for the post which was chosen as his first preference.
Medical Examination
However, candidate declared “medically unfit” may file an appeal/representation within 15 days of rejection by the Medical Officer in prescribed proforma. The appeal panel shall decide their appeal within a period of one month of the date of rejection. If found medically fit by appeal panel, the candidate will be recruited subject to availability of vacancies and subject to his/her meeting merit criteria fixed for final selection.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
HEIGHT BAR TEST – At the very beginning, candidates will be asked to go through the height bar and thereby ineligible candidates with lesser height will get eliminated. (For CT/GD ONLY).
RACE
The candidates who are found eligible on height parameters will undergo PET (race) as per details mentioned at para 6 (E). The race prescribed will be qualifying in nature.
PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST
Those who are found eligible on Bio-metric identification will be subjected to height, chest and weight measurement. Relaxation in height & chest (as the case may be) will be permissible only on production of requisite caste certificate. Candidate who does not fulfill the laid down physical standard will be eliminated for participating in the further process. After qualifying in the PST/PET, intimation for appearing in the written test on the fixed date will be given to the candidate on the spot by the recruitment board.

MEDICAL EXAMINATION
Only those candidates who have scored above the cut-off marks fixed in written examination will be allowed to appear in the medical examination. The number of candidates to be declared qualified in written test will be equal to the number of the vacancies, increased by average failure rate during last medical examination determined on the basis of past experience.
Important Details for CRPF GD Constable / Tradesman 2018
The medical certificate or proof will not be taken into consideration unless it contains a note by the Medical Officer concerned to the effect that it has been given in full knowledge of the fact that the candidate has already been declared unfit for service by CRPF recruiting medical board for appointment in CRPF. Appeal will be submitted within 15 days from the date of issue of the communication of his/her medical unfitness. The IG, Chhattisgarh Sector, CRPF, Sector-17, Naya Raipur, Raipur Chhattisgarh-492101 will be the Appellate Authority for the purpose. A Medical Officer will be associated with the Appellate Authority for screening appeals.
