B.E. I B.Tech. / B.Sc.(Engg.) I AMIE in Civil Engineering from any recognised University/ Institution should be approved from any recognised University incorporated by Notification of Central/State Legislative Assembly or established any Notification of Parliament or recognized by UGC or AICTE.
M.B.B.S. degree from recognised University + Registration with Medical Council of India. However for CSPGCL preference shall be given to the candidate having (i) Certificate course in Industrial Health and Safety of minimum 03 months duration. (ii) Diploma in Assiciate Fellowship in Industrial Health (AFlH).

SELECTION PROCEDURE
0nline computer based test (CBT) of 2 Hours duration followed by interview. Computer based test shall comprise of 100 objective type questions of I 00 marks with Multiple Choice answers consisting of Part I – 80 questions related to professional subject and Part II – 20 questions to judge the general awareness and reasoning.

Exam Pattern for CSPHCL Assistant Engineer AE / Medical Officer 2018
All Shortlisted/eligible candidates will have appear in written examination consisting of objective type questions based on the based on Essential/Desirable qualifications, as mentioned at para 4 above and bilingual in both English & Hindi (except for General English) covering aspects as below.
The Exam Will be Computer Based (CBT).
The Question Paper will be of 100 Objective Type.
The Question Paper will be Bilingual i.e. Hindi & English.
The Questions Paper Will be divided in Two Parts. Part I Will be of 80 Questions on Professional Subjects & Part II will be of 20 Questions on General Awareness & Reasoning.
The Time Duration of Exam 02 Hours (120 Minutes).
There Will be Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks.
Important Instruction for CSPHCL Assistant Engineer AE / Medical Officer 2018
In case of large number of candidates in a particular city, the centre opted by the candidates as first preference, may not be allotted and candidates will be asked to appear at 2nd/3rd preference or any other new city. In case of less number of candidates in a particular city, the examination centre in that particular city may be cancel led. The decision on allotment of centre by CSPHCL will be final. The interview will be held at Raipur.
Traveling expenses for outstation candidates for appearing in the onIine Computer Based Test and Interview I Document Verification will be paid to SC/ST/OBC candidates only as per Power Companies rule.
Exam Admit Card / Hall Ticket
The candidate must bring print out of e-Admit Card at the Examination Centre along with original ID Proof. No candidate will be allowed entry without e-Admit Card and original ID proof i.e. Voter Identity Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport or Aadhar Card. The identity of the candidate will be matched from the ID proof. ln addition, the Candidates are also advised to carry 02 recent color passport size photographs in the examination Centre.
Training – Selected candidates (Except Medical Officer) will have to undergo on the job training and institutional training for a total period of 12 months. Evaluation of performance in the training period will be assessed through a written exam followed by assessment by MD.
The minimum qualifying marks for UR/OBC category will be 40% and for SC/ST category will be 30% in internal written exam. On satisfactory completion of training the trainee may be considered for appointment as Assistant Engineer (Civil), Accounts Officer Assistant Manager (F&A), Administrative Officer I Assistant Manager (HR), Welfare Officer, Programmer & Junior Engineer (Civil) on probation for a period of two years which may be extended as per Power Companies rules.
