DRDO STA B 2020 Senior Technical Assistant Admit Card / Hall Ticket
DRDO will release the Admit Card for exam that to be held for the recruitment of 494 vacancies for the post of Senior Technical Assistant B (STA B) under Defence Research & Development Organization Technical Cadre (DRTC). The management is going to issue the DRDO Call Letter at least 2 weeks prior to the date of examination. DRDO Technical Assistant Admit card 2020 will not be sent by post or courier. DRDO Conducts DRDO Entry Test-2020 (Tier-I & Tier II) for the recruitment of DRDO STA B posts.
This advertisement consists of five sections. All details given in these sections are applicable to candidates. Translation ambiguity, if any, shall be resolved by referring to the English version of the advertisement published in the Employment News. Those awaiting results of the final examination as on crucial date of eligibility for the prescribed qualification are not eligible and hence should not apply. B.Sc. candidates must have read the required subject for at least 02 years in the course of B.Sc. programme. Please note that the candidates possessing higher qualification, viz., M.Sc. or B. Tech. or B.E. or Ph.D. degree etc., as on crucial date of eligibility, shall not be considered for the recruitment.
DRDO STA B 2020 Senior Technical Assistant Method of Process
SELECTION PROCESS: The selection process will consist of DRDO entry test in two tiers: Tier-I, Tier-II & preliminary document verification. Tier-I & Tier-II Tests:
Both the test will be Computer Based Test (CBT). CBT will be conducted in two tiers as described in Table-1.
- The CBT will consist of objective type-multiple choice questions only.
- The syllabus of the examinations will be commensurate to essential qualification required for the post.
- The medium for examination will be Hindi or English.
- Tier-I examination is for screening only.
- Tier-II examination is for provisional selection.
- Marks will be normalized in Tier-I & Tier-II examination as per best practices.

Exam Pattern for DRDO STA B 2020 Senior Technical Assistant
The written test has 2 sections.
Total no. of questions in the test are 150.
Each question has one mark.
The total marks in the test are 150.
Exam duration is 3 hours.
SCREENING CRITERIA: Tier-I exam is for screening. The minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I is 40% for UR/OBC candidate and 35% for SC/ST candidates. Candidates will be provisionally shortlisted based on Tier-I examination merit in a ratio of 1:10 (No. of vacancy: No. of shortlisted candidates) provided they secure the minimum qualifying marks in examination.
However, this ratio may increase depending upon organizational requirements. The last candidate securing equal marks in the bracket will also be included. These shortlisted candidates will be called for Tier-II examination.
Exam Centre for DRDO CEPTAM 9 2020 Tier I & II STA B
EXAMINATION CITIES FOR TIER-I: Candidates are advised to choose any three different cities from the following list in order of preference for Tier-I examination. The option/preference once given by the candidate will be treated as final and irreversible. No request for change of examination city will be entertained. CEPTAM reserves the right to add/delete any examination city and allot the candidates to any examination city other than chosen by candidate depending upon the operational constraints.
EXAMINATION CITIES FOR TIER-II: No choice for city is required to be given by the candidates for Tier-II examination. Examination cities for the same will be decided by CEPTAM based on the operational requirement.
Admit card Important
- Candidates should bring the printout of them admit card in the examination hall.
- Candidates should download their admit card before the date of exam.
- Candidate are advised to validate all the details mentioned on their Admit Card.
- Date, Time and Venue of the Exam will be given on the Admit Card.
- Candidate should bring their Valid ID proof at the time of Exam.
- Candidates are advised to keep their Admit Card safe till the joining. Admit Card will be required at the time of joining.
- Any issue regarding the generation of the admit card can be resolved by contacting the official authorities.
- The candidates should note that the admit card will have some instructions for the exam day and that they should be obeyed by all.
IDENTITY VERIFICATION for DRDO STA B 2020 Senior Technical Assistant
The original certificates/documents of successful candidates will be verified for which dates will be notified after declaration of result. On the basis of written test, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates of Essential and Desirable Qualifications along with one set of photocopy, duly attested,
