NABARD Development Assistant Selection Process
The selection process will involve two phases viz. Preliminary and Main Exam, both online, as under.
The Preliminary Examination is only qualifying in nature and is meant to serve as a screening test. Only those candidates who score sufficiently high in both, individual tests & in aggregate, shall be shortlisted for Main Examination in the calling ratio of maximum 1:25 based on the cut off arrived on performance of the candidates in the examination. Similarly, only such candidates who score the cut off marks or above in the Main Examination will be shortlisted for selection.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University/Institutions with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD candidates).

NABARD Development Assistant Written Examination Centre
Examination Centres
The Preliminary Examination will be conducted online at various venues across the states as indicated in Annexure – I. Candidates will have to opt for a centre within the same state, they have applied for.
The Main Exam will be held at any place(s) in the concerned State. However, in case of any unforeseen infrastructural issues, centres would be shifted /combined/merged elsewhere.
NABARD, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination centre/s and/ or add some other center/s, depending upon the number of candidates opting, administrative feasibility, etc.
Candidate will appear for the examination at an Examination Centre at his/ her own risks and expenses and NABARD will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature, whatsoever.
Choice of Centre once exercised by the candidate will be final.

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests in both the phases. 1/4th mark will be deducted as penalty for each wrong answer.

Final selection will be on the basis of candidate’s performance in the online Main examination in the order of merit and biometric verification. The decision of the Bank in this regard will be final.

- Candidates should bring the printout of them admit card in the examination hall.
- Candidates should download their admit card before the date of exam.
- Candidate are advised to validate all the details mentioned on their Admit Card.
- Date, Time and Venue of the Exam will be given on the Admit Card.
- Candidate should bring their Valid ID proof at the time of Exam.
- Candidates are advised to keep their Admit Card safe till the joining. Admit Card will be required at the time of joining.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION
In the examination hall as well as at the time of interview, the call letter along with original and a photocopy of the candidate’s currently valid photo identity such as Aadhar/PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead/ Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead/ valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/ University/ Aadhar card with a photograph/E-Aadhar Card/ Employee ID/ Bar Council Identity Card with photograph should be submitted to the invigilator for verification.
The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter, in the Attendance List and requisite documents submitted. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate may not be allowed to appear for the Examination.
The following certificates must be kept ready by the candidates for the purpose of verification.
- Aadhar card.
- Proof of all Educational Qualifications.
- Date of Birth Certificate / S.S.C.
- School Study Certificate.
- No Objection Certificate from Employer (if anywhere employed) Other certificates if any.
- Community Certificate.
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate as per Form- VIIB / Creamy Layer Certificate as per Form- VIIC.
