Education Qualification
For Engineering Disciplines: B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent and M.E./ M. Tech. or equivalent with Ph. D. in relevant/ equivalent discipline with first class in the preceding degrees. B.E./B Tech. with direct Ph.D. with first class in preceding degrees may also be considered.
For Architecture Departments: B.Arch. and M. Arch./ M. Plan. or equivalent with Ph.D. in relevant/ equivalent discipline with first class in the preceding degrees. B. Arch. with direct Ph.D with first class in preceding degrees may also be considered.
For Non-Engineering Departments: Ph. D. degree in the relevant or equivalent discipline with first class in preceding degrees.
Important Note: Last date of online Application is 15/12/2017 (till 12:00 Night) Institute reserves the right to extend the last date, therefore, candidates are advised to keep visiting the Institute website regularly. The last date for receiving a hard copy is 22/12/2017 (5.30 P.M.). Hardcopies of the applications received in the Institute after this date/time shall not be considered and the Institute shall not be responsible under any circumstances for any sort of postal delay.
Interview Letter: Travelling Allowance (TA) is admissible to the candidates called for interview. TA will be admissible subject to maximum 3rd AC (Third AC) class fare by the shortest route from the address mentioned in the interview letter or from the place of a journey to the Institute whichever is less, on submission of tickets of both ways journey.
Interview: Provided that a candidate of scheduled castes or scheduled tribes category shall not be recommended for appointment unless he obtains minimum 35% marks in the aggregate of written examination and the interview, and, in the case of other candidates, unless he obtains minimum 40% marks in the aggregate of written examination and the interview.

- SSC (Standard 10th) or its equivalent mark sheet.
- Certificate of proof of date of birth (Standard 10th or its equivalent certificate or mark sheet indicating a date of birth or school leaving certificate indicating a date of birth).
- Consolidated mark sheet for all semesters of the trade in which applied / Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks.
- Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates, wherever applicable.
- Disability certificate, in case of PWD candidate.
- Discharge certificate / Serving certificate, in case of candidates, applied against Ex-Servicemen Quota
Note: All degrees, certificates should be from recognized Institute/Universities. Interview for the shortlisted candidates, who are residing abroad may be arranged through Video Conferencing, etc.
