The deficiencies of a Sportsperson, who is deficient in his/her physical standards of measurements by 3 cm in height, 2 cm in chest and 5 Kg in weight for his candidature for appointment to the post of Constables will be relaxed provided he/she has represented the State in a National level sports and games meet. For such representation in sports and games, only the certification from the Directorate of sports shall be considered.

About Examination
Applications are invited from the eligible intending candidates to fill up of 1722 posts of Civil Constables in the following Districts/Establishments. The application should reach to the concerned Superintendent of police of the Districts as well as police Commissionerate, Bhubaneswar on or before 26,07.2OLA by 5.OO p.m.. Applications that are incomplete or received after due dale will be rejected. physical l4easurement/ Physical Efficiency Tests will be held from 06.08.2018, 7.OO A.M onwards,
Physical Test for Odia Police Civil Constable (Men / Women) 2018
Important Note: The physical measurement and physical efficiency test will be held in the aforesaid locations w.e.f. 06,08.2018 (Monday) at 7.OO AM. The candidates are requested to be present in their respective venues at the date and time fixed, the aforesaid examination may continue for a long period. Hence, the Candidates are required to come prepared to stay for a few days. if at any Point of time the candidate disqualifies, he/she shall not proceed to the next stage.

Note: Only those , who qualify High Jump of 1.22. Mtrs, shall be allow Compete to jump 1,38 Mtrs in single chance, Only those candidates who qualify 1.38 Mtrs shall be allowed to compete for 1.50 Mtrs in single chance. Higher Marks shall be awarded as follows.
If cleared 1.38 Mtrs – 07 Marks
If cleared 1.50 Mtrs – 10 Marks.
Marks shall be awarded only for the highest jump cleared.

The test shall be Conducted only for those candidates who claim in their applications that they are proficient in driving and possesses either Light or Heavy Vehicle Driving license for the last six Months(excluding learning period) or more from the date of advertisement of vacancies and wishes to appear in the driving test for award of Marks.
Those candidates who possesses valid Heavy Vehicles Driving license and pass Heavy Vehicle driving test, shall be awarded 05 l4arks. Those candidates who have the valid Light Vehicle Driving license and pass Light Vehicle Driving test shall be awarded 3 Marks, of those appearing for the test and awarded the marks shall be deemed to have accepted the service condition that if called upon they shall have to drive the light or heavy vehicle, as the case may be, as part of their normal duties and responsibilities,

On completion of the recruitment test a Select List will be drawn up by each Battalion of the successful candidates in order of merit, category wise as per the advertisement, The Select List will be prepared in decreasing order of aggregate marks secured by the candidates in accordance with the vacancies in which the total Persons shall not exceed the number of vacancies advertised.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION for Odisha Police Civil Constable 2018
The original certificates/documents of successful candidates will be verified for which dates will be notified after declaration of result. On the basis of written test, the provisionally qualified candidates will be required to produce original certificates of Essential and Desirable Qualifications along with one set of photocopy, duly attested, viz.: i) Copy of downloaded Registration Slip of on-line application form. ii) Copy of downloaded Admit Card. iii) Certificate showing the Date of Birth. iv) Caste certificate if applied under SC/ST/OBC category issued by the competent authority. v) Disability Certificate, if applied under PWD category. vi) ‘No Objection Certificate’ if in regular employment. vii) Experience certificate, if any.
The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter and in the Attendance List. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the Online Examination.
