Mobiles phones, Bluetooth or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations. Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones/pagers or any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for safekeeping cannot be assured. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.

UPSC CMS Exam Date & Centre 2019 

Union Public Service Commission is going to conduct Combined Medical Services Exam on 2019 . This examination will be Computer Based Mode comprising a total of 250 marks. Those candidates who will shortlist in Computer Based Examination will be called for Personality Test.

Education Qualification

  • For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy-Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
  • For Indian Naval Academy—Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
  • For Air Force Academy-Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Graduates with the first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

The candidate must note that the Commission takes up the verification of eligibility conditions i.e. age, educational qualifications, community etc. with reference to original documents only of those candidates who qualify the written examination.
The candidate must also note that if subsequent to the issue of e-Admit Card, ineligibility is detected at any stage before or after the Examination or if the conditions prescribed in the Rules and Instructions given in the advertisement or any other additional information/documents called for at any stage, have not complied within the time specified therein, the candidature would be rejected.

Admit Card / Hall Ticket Important 

  1. Candidates should bring the printout of them admit card in the examination hall.
  2. Candidates should download their admit card before the date of exam.
  3. Candidate are advised to validate all the details mentioned on their Admit Card.
  4. Date, Time and Venue of the Exam will be given on the Admit Card.
  5. Candidate should bring their Valid ID proof at the time of Exam.
  6. Candidates are advised to keep their Admit Card safe till the joining. Admit Card will be required at the time of joining.
  7. Any issue regarding the generation of the admit card can be resolved by contacting the official authorities.
  8. The candidates should note that the admit card will have some instructions for the exam day and that they should be obeyed by all

Examination Details (UPSC Combined Medical Service 2019)

  1. The written part of the Computer-based CMSE 2018 is in two Papers, each Paper carrying a maximum of 250 marks.
  2. Each Paper is of two hours duration.
  3. Both the question papers I and II contain 120 items (questions) each and each item is in English only.
  4. Computer-based CMS 2018 in both the papers is complete of objective (Multiple choice answers) types.
  5. There were four alternatives for the answers to every question.
  6. A candidate has to select only one of the four alternatives as his/her correct answer. The system does not allow selection of more than one alternative as the correct answer.
  7. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question is deducted as penalty.
  8. If it is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there is no penalty for that question.

Important Note: ALL FEMALE CANDIDATES AND CANDIDATES BELONGING TO SCHEDULED CASTES/SCHEDULED TRIBES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY ANY FEE. NO FEE EXEMPTION IS, HOWEVER, AVAILABLE TO OBC CANDIDATES AND THEY ARE REQUIRED TO PAY THE FULL PRESCRIBED FEE.
NOTE 1: Candidates should note that only the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Higher Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate on the date of submission of applications will be accepted by the Commission and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.
