A(I) B.Sc (Hons) in Nursing from a recognised university or institute; or Regular course in B.Sc Nursing from a recognised University or institute; or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from recognised university or institute; (II) Registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife (RN or RN & RM) with State Nursing Council; or
(I) Diploma in General Nursing and Mid-Wifery from a recognised Board or Council; (II) Registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife (RN or RN & RM) with State Nursing Council; (III) One-year experience in minimum fifty bedded hospitals after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned at B(I) above.

Exam Pattern for VMMC SJH Nursing Officer 2018

- There will be single stage of computer based examination.
- The Examination shall be objective type (Multiple Choice Question) of 120 -minute duration containing 150 multiple choice question with provision of one fourth (1/4) negative marking for wrong answer.
- The Medical Superintendent, Safdarjung Hospital reserves the right to set minimum qualifying marks for each category.
- The written test will be multiple choice objective type.
- There will be two question papers carrying 100 questions each.

ADMIT CARD: Candidates are advised to download their Admit Card from Safdarjung Hospital web site www.vmmc-sjh.nic.in as no admit card will be sent by post. No request for change of examination centre will be entertained.
Note: Mobile phones/Communication devices/gadgets, electronic watches & calculators etc. shall not be permitted in the examination Hall.
Merit List: Final merit list for the post of Nursing Officer shall be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the online objective type examination which will determine their position. If two or more candidates secure equal marks, the candidate older in age shall be placed above.
